Counting Down to Crosby

Time really does fly. Believe it or not (I am speaking to myself here) I am now 28 weeks and have officially entered the third trimester. I have been bad about taking belly pics so I thought it was time for one. Hopefully Anutie Steph and Uncle Stephen will take a few pregnancy shots when I am closer to my due date but for now this will have to do.
I am also happy to announce, on the blog that is, that we have FINALLY settled on a name. It took us almost the entire first two trimesters to finally arrive at Crosby Sawyer but we are now convinced that this is "the name."
The boys are both excited about the baby. Oliver understands much better now what a baby is and he is ready to help rock, feed, and hold the baby. And he has become my little helper, even now before a newborn, so I know he will be a huge help after Crosby makes his appearance. Welsey knows there is a baby in my stomach, at least I think he gets that most mommy's don't have a largely inflated stomach so he gets that something is up. He likes to lift up my shirt and point at my belly and say ,"baby." He particularly likes to push on my belly button which is now fully protruding. He thinks it is some sort of button I think. He will also, from time to time, lift up his shirt, point to his belly, and say, "baby." We are trying to explain that only mommy has a baby, we might be getting through. Either way we are excited for our THIRD son and are looking forward to meeting him in the not so distant future. In the meantime, we are enjoying our lives with only two recognizing that the chaos will increase all too soon:)

The "Choo Choo" Park

We have taken a few trips to the Railroad Park in the last few weeks or as Wesley calls it the "choo choo" park. I don't know why we haven't gone more prior to the last few weeks considering Wesley's love for choo choo trains but at least we have made up for it lately. The first set of pictures are from this morning. Michael had a day off work so we went together as a family.

This next set of pictures is from a play date we had last week. I wish I had taken even more pictures but managing two little mobile ones inhibited my ability to take good photos. I love this first one below. It is off Kaleb and Oliver. They are buddies and had a blast together. There are definitely no shortage of kids in our circle of friends which makes these days at the park all the better!

This and That

Just a few random pics. Oliver got a new shirt the other day which he loves so we took a picture to show it off. Michael got new glasses which Oliver had to try on:)
I woke Wesley up from his afternoon nap the other day, which I never do, but he didn't fall asleep until late and I didn't want him up until 10pm. When I went in to get him up this is how I found him. And I have noticed he falls asleep a lot with his hands behind his head. So STINKIN' cute.

Oliver the Teacher

Just call him Mr. Oliver because lately he has been trying to help us teach Wesley new words. He will say, "Wesley say green." and then if his brother says anything like the word he asking him to repeat he cheers, much like we do when he says something new. It is REALLY cute. The other night they were both sitting on this chair and Oliver was doing his letter flash cards with Welsey. I had to take a bunch of pictures.

Basketball

I haven't had a chance yet to post these pics and basketball ended about a month ago now so I am a little late, but better late than never. Michael coached freshman boys basketball this year. The same kids he coached a few years ago in seventh grade. They had a very successful season and only lost three games (I am pretty sure this is correct). He could better fill you in on their exact record but I know they lost MUCH less than they won. Papa coached with him once again, the boys on the team called him "Mr. Mr. Fay" which I thought was funny.
I must say that although I am glad Michael got the chance to coach and I know it meant a lot to him and to the guys on the team, we really missed having him at home. I may or may not have thanked God that basketball was almost over during bedtime prayers with Oliver which of course he then mimicked for the next weeks, well maybe month. To this day he says, "thank you God that basketball is over." I don't think I was the only one that missed him:)

Like Father Like Sons

Michael mowed the lawn just over a week ago and seemed to have some followers. I loved these so I had to put a bunch up:)
