Halloween!

This year was our second year going to Nana and Papa's for Halloween. We ate dinner together and then took the kids out in their neighborhood. Wesley didn't last quite as long as Oliver but he enjoyed eating as much candy as he could convince his mother to let him have. Oliver want all around the block and had a blast. Towards the end of the trick-or-treating Oliver said to Michael, "Daddy, are you tired?" Michael said, "Not too bad, are you?" Oliver- "No, but this bucket is getting really heavy." And he did manage to fill his darth vader candy bucket all the way to the top.

Pumpkin Carving

This past Friday we took an opportunity to carve a few pumpkins. Our time was limited considering there was only so much interest in the carving from our two little ones but we got it done and there was much excitement when we lit them later that night and put them at our front door!

Trunk or Treat

This year for Trunk or Treat there was really no question what the theme for our trunk would be- Star Wars. And I think the trunk was a big hit not only with Oliver (who spent the whole night showcasing his Jedi lightsaber skills) but also with a lot of the kids who came to the event. Some were not quite sure what to do with Darth Sidous and Kit Fisto and hesitantly made their way to the candy and grabbed some as quickly as possible before they ran away. Most kids wanted a picture with Darth Vader and he was happy to oblidge:)

Stephanie and Stephen dressed up like queen and mad hatter from Alice and Wonderland and looked amazing!!

Baby # 3!

Although I am pretty sure that most of you know I wanted to officially announce on our blog that I am pregnant with our third:) I have not done a great job keeping up with updates lately, well, this pregnancy is my excuse! Nausea doesn't allow for a lot of good opportunities to blog. I am happy to report, though, that now in my 8th week I am feeling better. Exhausted still, but not queasy-thankfully. I had an ultra sound week 7 and everything looks good. The heartbeat is strong and they were able to confirm the due date they had given me- June 10th.
We are super excited to be adding to our family (yes, this was planned) and look forward to meeting him/ her in about 32 weeks:)
