Last Tuesday was Grandparents day at Oliver's school and for this year (it will change next year when Wesley's in school) Oliver had all four grandparents to himself. They had been practicing several songs and poems for quite some time in preparation for their little program and although I did not make it (I figured four people was enough representation from the Fay family that I opted to keep the younger and more squirmy little ones at home with me) I heard it was a fantastic performance. Here a few pictures and a little video from the morning.
With the "Papas"
His class According to the grandparents his little voice could be heard quite clearly above the rest and he knew all the motions. (they may be a little biased:) In his classroom! The sun was pretty bright but this is him and his little buddy Connor. Marsha has NEVER been more proud than when a few minutes after this photo after Oliver had just come down the slide when he attempted to grab Connor to re-take this photo without the sun in their faces. He has definitely learned how to stage a photo from his Nana. Nana, Papa, and Oli-Mo Mimi, Papa G., and Oli-Mo A little video of a portion of the performance:)
Michael and Christy met at Scottsdale Christian Academy in the 7th grade.Although they met when there were 12, it would take them the next five years to actually speak to one another. The verdict is still out concerning who is responsiblefor this lack of communication.Thankfully, the two did eventually begin verbal relationship which, in my opinion, couldn’t have ended better. They have now been married for six years and are the proud parents of three of the most handsome little boys on the planet.
Oliver Moses
Oliver, our first baby boy, will turn four this
December but acts about five years older than he
actually is.He can name pretty much every Star
Wars character, he knows most of the Presidents,
and can complete a puzzle faster than his mother
can.He is an incredible big brother and has a very
sweet and sensitive heart.
Wesley Jack
Wesley came into the world on June 9th 2011, our little
surprise package, born only 18 months after Oliver. He
is our little comedian keeping us on our toys and very
entertained. He is independent but also has a very
caring and sweet heart. He adores his big brother and
is coming into his role as big brother to Crosby.
Crosby Sawyer
Crosby, our third little boy, was born June 7th
2011 almost exactly to the date two years younger
than Wesley. We can’t tell yet just what kind of
personality he has yet only that he is full of smiles
