San Diego 2012

We just got back yesterday from our third annual San Diego trip.  We had an absolute blast playing at the beach, going to the park, eating good food, riding rides, playing with family, and going to the Zoo.

Our Zoo trip was a big success.  When asked what the highlights were last night at dinner the boys answered, "the elephant poop."  Yes, this sums up my life.  Anything to do with poop, pee, or the male anatomy is automatically hilarious.  We did, however, see lots of other things; gorillas, chimpanzees, turtles, zebras, meerkats, snakes, spiders, polar bears, reindeer, jaguars, tigers, llamas, and the let goes on.

They really enjoyed the petting Zoo.  Even Crosby got in on the action, although every animal including these goats he called ,"dog" another word he has got down.

We played a lot on the beach jumping over waves, building sand castles, buying Oliver, digging holes, playing Ninjas, bogie boarding (kind of), collecting shells, and snacking on the sand.

Crosby liked the beach, for about 45 minute time increments.  He LOVED this shovel which, as you can see is bigger than him.  He did try to eat the sand from time to time which made for an interesting choice of snack but overall he has a great time.

Marsha took some more photos which I will add:)  Thanks Bill and Marsha for making this week possible.  WE LOVED IT!!!!
