Here are the two little mischief makers. We have not gotten them to a point where we put them to bed at the same time and they have learned how to play for a while, giggle, and talk and then go to sleep. Of course, we have to remind them a few (sometimes more) times to GO TO SLEEP. Often times, Oliver will go to bed first because he doesn't nap and when 7 or 7:30 pm comes he is VERY tired. The other night I noticed the light was on, Wesley has learned how to turn the light on and off, and so I went in to check and see what was going on. When I opened the door this is the scene I saw:

A Spotlight on Wesley
I want to take a minute and just do an update on Wesley because, let me tell you, this kid is doing some funny stuff lately. One of his new favorite games is to get in this car (pictured below) and pretend to drive to the store. He will usually say, "I need money. Go to store." Then once we have given him "money" he gets in his car and says, "Bye. See you soon" to everyone that is in the room at the time. He then will drive and park the car (he will say, "I park.") and then gets whatever he thinks we need from the store. It's usually ice cream or pizza. Get back in his car and say, "Here you go Dada. Here you go Mommy." He then repeats this OVER and OVER. And it is cute every time. He is also obsessed with a book called, "50 Degrees Below Zero." Which he has now pretty much memorized and can read to us. If you are not familiar with this story it's a book about a Father who sleepwalks and a son who is always finding him in the strangest places. One of Wesley's many favorite lines in the book is, "Papa, wake up." Which, at any given moment, you might find him yelling as he runs throughout the house. He will also say, "I look in the bathroom, no one there. Look in kitchen. no one there." I cannot communicate in a blog post how stinkin' cute this is but at least when I read this years down the road I will remember what he did, at this stage, that made us laugh.

Oliver asleep, he was completely out with the light on. Wesley sitting on Oliver's bed with the bottle of "no nail bite" nail polish in one hand and the brush in the other (this awful tasting stuff is what we have been putting on Oliver's finger to keep him from sucking on it). Just sitting there with a little smirk on his face. Putting on this nail stuff and oh yeah, did I mention? He also had brushed some of this nasty solution on the bedspread. Good thing I love him.
3 Months Old!
Again, somehow I wonder how yet another month has passed and it is time to post some pics of our littlest boy. Crosby was three months old last week and is doing great. He smiles all the time, is really close to rolling over all by himself, is sleeping GREAT at night (yeah for me!), and we are all falling more in love with him by the day. Here are a few pics.
I have managed to arrange the schedule so that they are all napping/ having quiet time at the same time. However, Crosby will not sleep from 12:30 pm-3:00 pm unless I put him in the sleepy wrap. So this is how I spend those hours...and I love it just as much as him. I know before long he will be napping all by himself in his crib so I am enjoying this cuddle time while it lasts.
He loves his bath time.
"Say what?"
Love him. Love him.
