Wesley is Talking and Smiling!

Wesley is growing everyday and doing his best to keep up with his brother. Of course getting any kind of word in with Oliver around is difficult. Here he is in his favorite place talking and smiling! Can't believe it's been two month already!

Obsessed with Monkeys!

Oliver's obsession is monkeys. All he want so say is the "Five little monkeys jumping on the bed" song/ rhyme and he LOVES a song off of the new Wiggles DVD about monkeys. We can't get him to want to watch anything else and if we let him he would watch it all day long. For some reason he has taken to running in circles around his stuffed dog during the song. Who knows why? But we hope this wears him out so he will sleep well and we can all rest!

A Few Candid Shots!

It has been a while since I posted last but life seems to be more than a little busy lately! Here are a few candid shots taken around bedtime. Oliver's new favorite thing to do is brush his teeth. Well actually he prefers to just lick the candy flavored toothpaste off but hey we're trying! And of course there a couple pictures of Wesley's bath. Oliver loves to "help" give him a bath. Or just play with the dish soap and splash around a little bit. And there is picture of sweet Wesley hanging out on the stuffed puppy dog that was Oliver's favorite thing to lay on.

The Spiderman

We have been talking Oliver swimming a lot lately at Nana and Papa's house. He is getting braver and braver and making the rest of us nervous as he gets more comfortable with the water. Michael and Bill taught him how to do the spiderman the other day and so here it is.

A bath for Wesley and a new toy for Oliver!

Thanks to Mima and Papa G Oliver has a place to jump. Lately he has been obsessed with jumping and jumps anywhere he can including his crib, the couch, our living room chairs. It was time for a jumping pit!



We gave Wesley his first bath the other night. There was quite an audience as you can probably hear! I think he probably was glad to have his big brother in bed and have some attention on him for a little bit!

At home with the boys!

  I know I am in a lot of trouble from all of my Canadian relatives considering I haven't posted anything and Wesley is two weeks old.  However finding a moment where I am not needed or wanted by one of the boys has proved to be somewhat challenging!  So here are a few shots we have taken of the two of them together.  The top picture was taken  a week and a half ago when Michael took Oliver to his first Diamond Backs game.  Yes, I realize it looks like they are going to Fenway but that's the baseball gear we have!  

  Life has been good with the two.  Wesley is an amazingly laid back dude and for that we are all thankful.  He sleeps three to four hours at night in a row (thank you Lord).  Something Oliver didn't do for until he was much older than two weeks.  So overall we don't feel too sleep deprived which is good because keeping up with Oliver is always a challenge.  We took them both to the doctor the other day and Wesley is back to his birth weight (8 lbs 2 oz.)  And Oliver weighs 22 lbs.  Which now puts him in the 7th percentile for weight.  Some progress from 3rd percentile but the kid is still skinny.  

  I am, as always, thankful for my husband who has been at home and been a huge help and to my family for all of their support!  We are having fun and you can expect to see some newborn pics soon.  Auntie Steph is coming over sometime this week!
